Polar Racking has successfully launched the PRU Utility Scale Ground Mount Racking System in partnership with OYA Renewables Inc., a global developer, integrator and financer of solar PV projects.
Polar Racking’s first PRU installation features a 408 kW ground mount site located in Windsor, Ontario. The 30-table array featured 300 PV panels, using 300 helical piles to support the double legged, clamped module mounting system.
Polar Racking facilitated all foundation and racking design, racking supply and installation for the site. The PRU system features a cost effective, highly configurable and easy to assemble design. Polar offers a pre-populated PV panel option to accelerate installation times.
The PRU’s patent pending penta-directional footbracket and semispherical hardware paves the way for the adjustability industry’s leading field assembly. The PRU offers superior strength and corrosion protection through the use of galvanized steel to accommodate environmental conditions.
Polar Racking provides a variety of foundation options ranging from driven to ballasted systems. This highly customizable system can withstand varying geologies, site conditions, slopes and module configurations.
